Nick Jonas & Demi Lovato Duet on ‘Avalanche’ + Stream Three Cuts From His New Self-Titled Album!

Are you ready to hear a lot more from Nick Jonas‘ upcoming self-titled album? Your answer should be, YAASS! With lead single “Jealous” sitting pretty at #28 on the Billboard Hot 100, the 22-year-old former Jonas Brother is wasting no time getting tracks out from his latest offering by sharing FOUR brand-new cuts with us before its official release date next week on November 10 via Island Records. From the super seductive and bass-pounding “Take Over,” to the emotional and falsetto-heavy “Push,” to the revealing and soaring pop stylings of “Nothing Would Be Better.” Each are surprisingly good numbers that not only show off Nick‘s soulful vocals but prove to be a mature mix of his previous material and his new urban-leaning sound. One of these songs truly stands out more than the others though — and that’s “Avalanche” featuring his longtime Disney pal Demi Lovato! Produced alongside pop/punk band Artist vs. Poet, “Avalanche” is a irresistibly good, power ballad driven by crashing drums and bass-heavy undertones that showcases their killer vocals perfectly. The chorus alone is enough to certify it as a absolute smash: “I got pride you can’t hold your breath / We’ll crash down like an avalanche / Look out now, don’t take one more step / We’ll crash down like an avalanche, avalanche” – I would love to see this one get the single treatment. Enough chit chat though – Listen below!
