Chvrches Debut Their Dreamy ‘Hunger Games: Mockingjay’ Cut, ‘Dead Air’!
Chvrches have been playing a song alternatively titled “Richard Pryor,” “Gene Wilder,” or “Eddie Murphy” on the road for the past few months. Today, the Scottish trio have debuted what has turned out to be the studio version of the track — officially dubbed “Dead Air,” which is indeed their contribution to the upcoming Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 soundtrack, due out on November 17 via Republic Records. Combining their signature electro flare, dreamy synths and punchy percussion with Lauren‘s delicate vocals, “Dead Air” showcases exactly what we’ve come to love from the band. My favorite cut we’ve heard from the soundtrack so far! What do you guys think?

As with all Chvrches music we love it! One of our favs and can’t wait for the next album. Just wished they had put the song in the actual movie.
