Paloma Faith: ‘A Perfect Contradiction’ Album Giveaway!
Yesterday marked the official U.S. release of A Perfect Contradiction, the new album from acclaimed U.K. singer-songwriter Paloma Faith! It’s been about eight months since the 33-year-old redheaded songstress released the album in the UK so I’m thrilled its finally getting a push stateside via Sony Music and Epic Records. The 11-track set features lead singles “Can’t Rely On You” and “Only Love Can Hurt Like This,” as well as writing and productions credits from Pharrell Williams, Diane Warren, Raphael Saadiq, Chris Braide, Stuart Matthewman, and much more. Fans of Paloma should be super pleased with A Perfect Contradiction, it’s a powerful fully-realized record from start to finish packed with influences from R&B, disco, and soul that feature all the different sides to her infectious personality. “I definitely wanted this record to be more celebratory of life, more fun and uptempo,” Paloma said about the album. “When you write quite a sad album, which I did with Fall To Grace, you see it as therapeutic to offload those feelings at first. Then a year-and-a-half later, you’re just picking a scab and you’ve had enough.” A Perfect Contradiction is already my favorite thing she’s ever done so stop wasting time and enter win a copy of your very own now!
