Usher Officially Drops Stripper Anthem, ‘I Don’t Mind’ feat. Juicy J!

After leaking back in June, Usher officially drops the final version of his stripper anthem “I Don’t Mind” featuring Juicy J! The song is fourth track we’ve heard from his upcoming his eighth studio album following Mike WiLL Made-It-produced buzz banger “Believe Me“, and lead singles “Good Kisser” and “She Came To Give It To You” featuring Nicki Minaj. Produced by Dr. Luke, “I Don’t Mind” sees the R&B superstar confessing his infatuation for a stripper, who knows how to shake her money maker, but still comes home to him. “Shawty, I don’t mind if you dance on a pole / That don’t make you a ho / Shawty, I don’t mind when you’re working until three, if you’re leaving with me,” Usher sings on-top of the clap heavy, chilled-out beat. Sure the songs lyrics are not going to win him any awards (lets be real), but its a solid number that is very much Usher. Get into it!

i wouldn’t mind the lyrics or melody if the track actually matched the content.
but the contrast between putting this simplistic sweet piano track with club banger raunchy lyrics just doesn’t fly.

soft piano mixed with “i’ma knock that pussy out the park”…the fuck?

So very sad – all the fame, money and power in the world can’t seem to get him a hit record. At least he has pulled the album release date for now…

Here’s hoping this incredibly talented man can stay relevant; maybe by going back to old school R&B with lyrics that people can identify with?
