Becky Hill Takes Us To The Fair For Her Debut Music Video, ‘Losing’!

Following its debut earlier this month, Becky Hill premieres the official music video for “Losing“! The stellar single produced by MNEK serves as the lead track off her upcoming debut album, which is scheduled to be released in the UK early next year via Parlophone and Warner Music. Directed by Chris Sweeney, the clip follows the 20-year-old English singer-songwriter as she frolics around a brightly colored German fairground full of rides and arcade games. It’s a little simplistic for her very first visual, but it does a good job of showcasing the song and who Becky is all about so I say job well done.

“‘Losing’ was inspired by someone I was seeing. I was very reluctant to trust him after a traumatic relationship when I was 16 but this person made me feel I could trust him. Our relationship was very intense and we relied on each other for guidance,” Becky told Nylon magazine. “It was all lies though, as he completely stopped any sort of contact. I was fed up of being let down and left heartbroken and thus ‘Losing’ was born out of that frustration. The “Losing” video was filmed two years after the song was written, so the video has a feeling of a distant memory about it. It’s shot in a funfair in Germany to capture the energetic feel of the song.”

Becky Hill will release her debut single “Losing” in the UK on November 16!
