Jessie Ware Drops Sensual Slow Burner, ‘Kind Of…Sometimes…Maybe’!

With just three weeks left to go until Tough Love gets released in the UK, British singer-songwriter Jessie Ware has decided to share another brand-new track with us entitled “Kind Of…Sometimes…Maybe“! The song serves as her latest iTunes promotional single following Deluxe Edition bonus track “Share It All,” and Dev Hynes co-penned “Want Your Feeling,” both of which will be featured on the upcoming LP, hitting stores October 6 in the UK and October 21 in the U.S. via Island and PMR Records. Produced and written alongside Miguel and BenZel (aka Two Inch Punch and Benny Blanco), “Kind Of…Sometimes…Maybe” is a breathlessly gorgeous and sensual slow jam that is sure to get you in the mood for some bed lovin’. “You keep haunting my nights, you keep asking me twice if I miss you at all, and I won’t lie, though I try, kind of…sometimes…maybe,” Jessie softly sings atop of the slow burning beat. With all that we’ve heard at this point, I think it’s pretty safe to say that Jessie absolutely killed it with this album.

The British prude in me was nearly banished when I had to whisper sweet nothings for this track. This is all thanks to Miguel, the absolute king of sexy music and talking,” Jessie told Complex. “There were moments where me and the BenZel boys didn’t know where to look, he made it so steamy in the studio I swear to God. It was a really magic moment for me to work with someone whose album had been with me and replayed for so long. He was so generous and wonderful in the studio and now I think of him as extended family.
