Charli XCX Premieres New Single ‘Break The Rules’ from New Album, ‘Sucker’!
Following her inescapable hook on Iggy Azalea‘s big summer hit “Fancy,” and her co-writing credit on Icona Pop‘s breakout smash “I Love It,” British singer-songwriter Charli XCX has officially become a proper pop star. With that said, Charli is now getting ready to release us the follow-up to her fantastic 2013 debut, True Romance, with her sophomore LP, Sucker, due out October 21st via Neon Gold and Atlantic Records. Here we have the first taste from the new record, “Break The Rules,” a upbeat, angsty earworm of a track that finds Charli delivering us another killer bombastic chorus: “I don’t wanna go to school! I just wanna break the rules!” she repeats over a hard-hitting bass line. Not a super obvious pop hit, but it’s a great number that offers a rockier alternative to the pure pop essence of her still-climbing hit “Boom Clap” – I’m into it! What do you guys think?

It’s her time. She’s about to explode and The Fault in Our Stars could not have happened at a better time.

she has a nice voice but it’s like she can’t find a hit for herself.

You know that Boom Clap is a hit, right?

Have you heard her song ‘London Queen’? That song could easily become a huge hit for her giving proper promotion. Just saying.
