Song of the Week: Paula DeAnda & Jump Smokers ‘Horns Blow (Shimmy Shimmy)’

This weeks Song of the Week comes from singer-songwriter Paula DeAnda and the Jump Smokers! After a brief stint on the sixth season of The Voice, the 24-year-old songstress, who’s best known for her 2006 hit “Walk Away“, has teamed up with the Chicago-based production team and remixers for a brand-new project, a 5-track EP titled The Voice and The Beats, which is due out June 24 via the Jump Smokers‘ label JS Sound. Here we have the official lead single “Horns Blow (Shimmy Shimmy)“, which is a infectious pop number driven by a thumping dance beat and a hot clap-heavy horn solo breakdown made perfect for summer. While the production certainly is on point, Paula‘s smooth vocals undeniably make “Horns Blow (Shimmy Shimmy)” a true club smash. Looking forward to hearing what else they have in store for us – GET INTO IT!
