X Factor USA Winners: Alex & Sierra Premiere Debut Single ‘Scarecrow’!

Alex & Sierra, winners of the third and final season of The X Factor USA, make their official debut with the premiere of “Scarecrow“! After being mentored by Simon Cowell and becoming the first and only group to win the American version of the show, the pop duo consisting of couple Alex Kinsey and Sierra Deaton, are finally preparing the release of their debut album for later this year via Columbia and Syco Records. Lead single “Scarecrow,” co-written with Sam Hollander and Martin Johnson, is a giddy indie-pop jam about the pair’s real-life love for each other that’s driven by infectious guitar strums, and a anthemic folk-tinged chorus made perfect for the airwaves. Considering folk inspired songs are still all over the radio at the moment (Pitbull‘s “Timber,” One Direction‘s “Story Of My Life,” Avicii‘s “Hey Brother“), Alex and Sierra‘s “Scarecrow” could very well be a successful debut for them given the right push – I’m into it. What do you guys think?

Alex & Sierra will digitally release their debut single “Scarecrow” on Monday (June 2)!

I like the song and it should do well, btw if it’s coming out digitally next Tuesday then that would be the 3rd.

Hmmm the song is good. I kinda wanted more. But what can you do. Its totally them.

PS. the Muppets look like my best friends “Kristen/Dustin” which kinda weirds me out as they never told me they were makin a music video.

I’m totally sold with this. I hope they make it, the are one of the few ones that are really good, that came out of reality shows in a long time.

Holy crap what was I watching during third season of X-factor? I completely missed it. >_< I'm glad a group won finally for X-factor USA. FINAL SEASON!? That sucks. I think X-factor is better than American Idol, just my opinion. Music video is cute for the most part.
