Ed Sheeran Premieres Studio Version of ‘X’ Opening Track ‘One’

Earlier this month, Ed Sheeran shared his acoustic Wembley Arena performance of brand-new track “One” from his forthcoming album x. Now with the release date quickly approaching, the British singer-songwriter has premiered the official studio version of the album’s opening track alongside the iTunes pre-order for x, which hits stores on June 28 via Warner Music. The song is a lovely heartfelt ballad that is very reminiscent to his material featured on his debut, + – If it doesn’t get you weeping, you’re probably soulless. “‘One‘ is the first track I wrote for my second album, shortly after + came out,” Sheeran said in a statement. “I wrote it back in 2011 in Perth, on a guitar made out of a whiskey barrel.” ~Amazing~
