Sevyn Streeter: ‘nEXt’ Video Premiere!

Check out the premiere of Sevyn Streeter‘s latest music video for “nEXt” featuring Kid Ink! The track serves as the second official single off her debut EP Call Me Crazy, But…, which is available now via Atlantic Records. Directed by Derek Blanks, the clip sees the 27-year-old singer-songwriter trying to move on after breaking up with her man, played by Kid Ink. The visual is very much a Being Mary Jane or Tyler Perry film moment but Sevyn pulls it off with ease and looks great in the process. Be sure to check Sevyn out on her current U.S. tour, which runs through May 3. What do you guys think?

LOVE Sevyn! Her “Call Me Crazy…” EP is sick, love every track, even her first single “I Like It” (which was tragically left off, even though it was a urban radio hit!)

“nEXt” is a HORRIBLE single choice! The least exciting song on the EP and sadly might make people think her EP is typical boring r&b when it isn’t!

“CALL ME CRAZY” should’ve been the next single! It sounds like a BEYONCE track, her best vocals to date!!

“COME ON OVER” sounds like a Danity Kane hit! “SHATTERED” has that Rihanna “Unapologetic” vibe!

So let down by her label for choosing “Next” as her new single! 🙁

Thanks for always profiling Sevyn on this blog at least, like getting updates on her.
