Pharrell: ‘G I R L’ Stream The Full Album Featuring Miley Cyrus & Daft Punk!

With just a few days left until its official release, Pharrell‘s new album G I R L is now streaming on iTunes Radio! G I R L, his first record since 2006′s In My Mind, will arrive on March 3, the day after the 40-year-old hitmaker performs his nominated hit “Happy” at the Oscars this Sunday (March 2) on ABC. The 10-song set includes new collaborations with Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Daft Punk, and JoJo on hidden track “Freq.” Much like his Despicable Me 2 soundtrack cut, the record is mostly driven by forward-thinking retro-soul numbers with positive vibes and addictive hooks. It’s a joyful and cohesive listen from start to finish, classic Pharrell with a modern flare. My favorites upon first listen are “Come Get It Bae” with Miley and “Gust of Wind” with Daft Punk, both are incredibly infectious and have have huge hit potential. Get into G I R L now!

  1. kinda liked it

  2. VERY cohesive is the right thing to say. All have similar sound and vibe going on. Which can be a major benefit but at the same time something that can be lacking overall. But no one can deny that this guy has the talent and ability to pull off something retro like this. I think it just might take some time to get used to it.

  3. Gust of Wind, was better than the other one.

  4. Liking both these tracks…kinda surprising for me ’cause I wasnt much of a fan of Pharrell except for Hsppy and some of his productions. 🙂

    1. both of those*
      Happy*
