Lana Del Rey Announces New Album ‘Ultraviolence’ & Premieres ‘Tropico’!

Last night (December 4), Lana Del Rey decided to grace us with her presence at the the premiere of her short film Tropico held at Cinerama Dome at ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood. Before debuting the long-awaited short film, Lana announced that her new album is called Ultraviolence. “I really just wanted us all to be together so I could visually close out my chapter before I release the new record, Ultraviolence,” Lana revealed. That’s right! The queen of beauty and darkness is finally ready to share some brand-new music with us. Until then, enjoy what truly is a masterpiece. Tropico, “an epic tale based on the biblical story of sin and redemption,” with Lana in the role of Eve. It was directed by Anthony Mandler and features the songs “Gods And Monsters,” “Bel Air” and “Body Electric” from her Paradise EP.

  1. Not to be pedantic, but whilst the 3 songs are indeed from the Paradise Ep, they will also be digitally released on the imminent Tropico EP so you also get the film with it.
