After several years away from the spotlight, Lily Allen finally returns with the premiere of her new single “Hard Out Here“! The British singer-songwriter has been pretty quiet since releasing her 2009 record It’s Not Me, It’s You – but rest assured, she’s finally ready to make her comeback with her third studio album scheduled for release in 2014 via Parlophone Records. Packed with a bubbly beat and catchy hook, the track sees Lily tackling various issues about women and the music industry in 2013. While the heavily Auto-Tuned song is indeed hilarious, its the accompanying video directed by Christopher Sweeney that brings it all together. From the hysterical opening, to the Robin Thicke “Blurred Lines” shade, its clear Lily is back and is ready to snatch wigs. It may have been created specifically to drum up controversy (duh), but “Hard Out Here” is exactly what I wanted to hear from Lily – Welcome back girl!
Lily Allen will release her new single “Hard Out Here” on Tuesday (November 19)!

It’s awesome, but the stupid top rated comments on the video atm are a mood killer.

Is it just me or the melody sounds a lot like Porcelain Black’s ‘One Woman Army’?
