Bonnie McKee: ‘Sleepwalker’ Video Premiere!
After breaking out once again with her made-perfect-for-summer debut single “American Girl” earlier this year, Bonnie McKee returns this week and gets into the Halloween spirit with “Sleepwalker“! The “InBetwingle” (a song in between singles, as she defines it), which was produced in collaboration with her boyfriend Oliver Goldstein and Boys Noize, is a uptempo dance cut driven by a thrilling electro-pop beat with lyrics that are surprisingly amazing and honest all at once. It almost sounds like a cross between a Daft Punk jam and a Katy Perry smash – so basically its EVERYTHING. The accompanying video directed by Patrick Hoelcka is also a real treat well-timed for the Halloween season. I’m really hoping Bonnie starts to catch on because she truly deserves the attention. GET FAMILIAR PEOPLE!!!

I don’t get the hype with people that like her. All of her songs are like C+ pop songs.

She’s totally talking about the Illuminati.

So much better than that American Girl shit.

This is a fucking BANGER. I seriously do not understand how people don’t like this, or her.

I love it, gosh everyone is so harsh! lol. Bonnie’s video is well executed and I love that she put out a modern fun pop song with an ode to Michael Jackson’s smash international mega hit “thriller!” “Sleepwalker” is so perfect for Halloween, nothing to be taken so seriously but to be like ear candy to our ears. I’m sure she isn’t eyeing a number one single with this song, but she is maybe looking to chart somewhere in the pop or dance charts.
I don’t know her well enough, but it seems like vocal wise in the pop world she can have success. The actress in the video out shined her, but in the end, she had a perfect scene where it was revealed she was a zombie. So I loved everything, I just feel she needs to change her hair, its a little tacky!

More Justice than Daft Punk, unless you’re talking “Discovery” era 🙂

I have liked everything about her. People don’t realize that she has been the writer of a bunch of number one singles already – They’ve just been sung by Katy Perry, Ke$ha and Britney Spears. Give her credit. The chick’s got mad song writing skills.
