The Saturdays: ‘Living for the Weekend’ Album Sampler!

With the release of their new album Living for the Weekend quickly approaching on October 14, The Saturdays have decided to increase the anticipation and share an official album sampler for their fourth full-length record. The twelve minute medley includes their number one single “What About Us” with Sean Paul as well as “Gentlemen,” “30 Days” and new single “Disco Love.” Even though at this point we’ve heard half of what will be on the album, there is definitely still some promising jams like “Problem With Love” and “Don’t Let Me Dance Alone” to look forward too. Enough chit chat though – Dig into all the new Saturdays below!

    Dear Saturdays,

Why have you regressed? Where are the potential singles on this record? Why the need for mediocre pop r&b songs? Where are songs like “On Your Radar” “Ego” “Notorious” “Higher” “Missing You”? When I listen to this album it doesn’t even feel like a Saturdays “classic-typical” album. I can write so many paragraphs on the letdown of this album. I’ve enjoyed all of their previous albums and singles–but not “Living for the Weekend”–it’s not catchy, songs are mediocre and typical, and there are hardly any mega single-worthy songs on this album. Very disappointed. I’m a major fan, but I know they can do better and come harder than this. “Gentlemen” and “Disco Love” are horrible single choices.

Seems like this album has some of Thor best songs and potentially some of their worst… It does seem like they regressed from the slick production of On Your Radar but can you blame them after it’s poor performance? Leave A Light On sounds perfect
