Jennifer Hudson has been taking some time off from her music to focus on her acting career, but the 31-year-old entertainer makes a brief return with “Bleed for Love“! The track is featured on the soundtrack to her upcoming film Winnie Mandela, which is an adaptation of Anne Marie du Preez Bezrob’s biography “Winnie Mandela: A Life.” Written by Diane Warren, “Bleed for Love” is a powerful and emotional ballad featuring gorgeous strings, South Africa’s Soweto Gospel Choir, and Jennifer‘s always amazing soaring vocals. “‘Bleed for Love‘ has such an incredible and meaningful message about the power of love and the extension of the human heart,” Jennifer told USA Today. “Diane wrote a beautiful song and it was an honor to work with her and the rest of the team to create this powerful piece of music.” It’s pretty much a over-the-top soundtrack ballad but it works in this case – Jennifer‘s voice is just perfection. What do you guys think?
