John Mayer: ‘Paper Doll’ Single Premiere!

After taking a short hiatus last year, John Mayer is back with the premiere of his new single “Paper Doll“! The track serves as the lead single off his upcoming sixth studio album, which is scheduled for release this summer. “New record this Summer… Not a Born and Raised “plus”… A whole new group of songs to bring the whole thing up to date with Summer 2013,” the 35-year-old singer recently announced on his website. “I have that hunger that always precedes something meaningful.” John has never been the kind of artist to release two albums back to back so this is a nice surprise and works out perfectly for his Born and Raised World Tour 2013. “Paper Doll” is whimsical and brings back the soulful stripped down sound that I’ve always loved from him.
