Ellie Goulding Covers Alt-J’s ‘Tessellate’

Ellie Goulding is back yet again with another brilliant cover! We’ve already heard her put her own spin on songs from the likes of Elton John, Active Child and The Weeknd, and now the 26-year-old English singer takes on “Tessellate,” a single from British indie rock band Alt-J‘s debut album An Awesome Wave. Produced by Chiddy Bang’s Xaphoon Jones, the rendition is a slow-burning number packed with infectious drums and a killer sax solo. The beauty of it all is in the production’s simplicity and Ellie‘s vocal ability is refreshing as always.
