Just two weeks after making their official return, Empire of the Sun premiere the video for their new single “Alive“! The track serves as the lead single off their long-awaited second album Ice on the Dune, scheduled for release on June 16th! Directed by JD Dillard, the clip follows Emperor Steele and Lord Littlemore as they traverse through a canyon 1,000 years into the future – as noted on the press release. The video is definitely part of “their bid to restore peace to the world” but its also kind of silly and enchanting. Either way, I’m still obsessed with this song. What do you guys think?
