Sia: ‘Kill and Run’ (From ‘Great Gatsby’ Soundtrack)

Sia has spent the last couple of years penning songs for the likes of Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, Beyoncé, and many more. While we wait on the follow-up to 2010’s We Are Born, Sia has thankfully taken time to contribute to the upcoming soundtrack to The Great Gatsby, scheduled for release on May 7. Co-written by Chris Braide, “Kill & Run” is a gorgeous ballad driven by Sia‘s soaring vocals laced on top of a cinematic and enchanting production. Much like Lana Del Rey‘s “Young & Beautiful,” the song is a big and dramatic number that should work perfectly for the Baz Luhrmann-directed film. If the movie turns out to be complete shit, at least we have a fantastic soundtrack packed with a star-studded roster. What do you guys think?

Pre-order The Great Gatsby Soundtrack on iTunes NOW before its official release date on Tuesday (May 7)!

  1. AMAZING SOUNDTRACK

  2. This woman needs to release her own album.
She is in a league of her own. Such talent!

    1. She has four albums. She’s been around for years. Look up the songs “Breathe Me,” “Soon We’ll Be Found,” and “The Girl You Lost to Cocaine.”

      She’s perfect.

    2. I love when people don’t realise she has had a very successful career before writing for Rihanna, Xtina etc/ Titanium was not her first song!

Look her up before you make comments like that imo! Sia deserves the research!

  3. Damn! This soundtrack is going to be SO sick!
