Avril Lavigne: ‘Here’s To Never Growing Up’ Single Premiere!
Here is the premiere of Avril Lavigne‘s new single “Here’s To Never Growing Up“! The track written by Lavigne, David Hodges, Chad Kroeger, Jacob Kasher and produced by Martin Johnson will serve as the lead single from her upcoming fifth studio album, scheduled for release later this year via Epic Records. Packed with heavy guitars and a addictive radio-ready chorus, “Here’s To Never Growing Up” is very much like her previous lead singles with its rallying chants and care-free vibe. Is it any different from what we’ve heard from her already? Not at all but it’s classic Avril and has radio smash written all over it. What do you guys think?

her spot was snatched up with no mercy by the greatest Taylor Swift… there’s no room for Avril anymore

Jumpin on the bandwagon with all these “living while we’re young” type songs.

Love Avril. But this sounds similar to a Kesha song. It will grow on me 🙂

During the verses it sounds like Complicated 2.0 and the whole feel of the song reminds me of Ke$ha
heh
Listen to
Oath – Cher Lloyd

I LOVE IT!

Sounds dangerously close to Cher Lloyd’s “Oath.” But the song does fit her, she’ll never freaking grow up.

it’s funny that people are comparing this to taylor swift, one direction, kesha, cher lloyd… IT’S SO AVRIL… so avril that is boring because she’s been singing the same song since I can remember

not bad, but not amazing either. which is unfortunate for avril, because she needed something with a fresh sound in order to reclaim any sort of relevancy. i don’t see this single performing well on radio. it MAY see a strong start, led by some sort of promotion between her label and Clear Channel, but will quickly fade. i mean, who actually cares about this musician anymore? for me, i’d have to say 2007, circa the release of “Girlfriend.” marrying chad kroeger certainly didn’t help her image…
somewhat agree with the first comment – this really does sound like a taylor swift record. it’s nothing new, nothing special.

I CARE ABOUT AVRIL! ITS HER IN A NUT-SHELL. I DONT THINK THATS A BAD THING WHEN PEOPLE ARE COMPARING HER TO THOSE ARTISTS THERE ALL GREAT SINGERS. KEEP GOING AVRIL I WILL KEEP BUYING!
P.S maybe a Ke$ha remix in the future? LMAO

Avril was first than Kesha, Cher Lloyd or Taylor. Just shut the fuck up. THIS IS AVRIL ! She’s 11 years in music industry soooo HERE’S TO NEVER GROWING UP
@FernandowJunior
she can do it better, but it’s ok
Mike
Avril had a distinct sound that has been emulated by many artists, her music will always hold a special place in my heart. When we were young, complicated was our (siblings and me) favorite song. I think taylors recent singles are avril-esque but still very much taylor.

SUPER COOL!! TE AMO AVRIL SOS LA MEJOR ……….:)

this bitch needs to grow up

All of these comparisons to Taylor Swift…
This song = Party In The USA + Complicated

Thanks for posting! I was thinking Taylor Swift when I previewed this song. It’s too bad Avril didn’t release this before Taylor’s WANEGBT. So then Taylor would’ve gotten the backlash.
