The Jonas Brothers Return with ‘Pom Poms’!
The Jonas Brothers are finally back with their anthemic new single “Pom Poms“! After almost four years since their 2009 fourth studio album Lines, Vines and Trying Times, the boys are ready to burst back into the scene with their fifth studio album due out later this year. Co-penned by Paul Phamous and produced by Nick Jonas himself, “Pom Poms” is a fun and cheeky pop track featuring heavy blasts of horns, infectious drumline snares, and a real earworm of a chorus that will have you going back for repeated listens. The track is in the same vein as some of their earlier work, just a little more mature and playful. I’m truly impressed. With boy bands like One Direction, The Wanted, and Big Time Rush now in existence, “Pom Poms” may sound like a risk commercially but I think they hit the nail right on the head with this one. What do you guys think?

Sounds like Camp Rock 3…the award dance off and the female vocals are tacky. Good thing nick and joe are cute.

This song is stupid. A step backwards- I mean they were headed in a good direction with their last album… This is just a Disney Channel reject song that they sexed up

I liked it until that uncomfortable key change for the last chorus…

This sounds extra corny to me. They need to get out of catering to the high school scene.
Where is the maturity in their sound?

It was okay, until the girls started singing halfway through. NOW IM HATING IT, lol yeah that fast.

I’m a Jonas fan since their first album, and i’m a bit disappointed with this song. I mean, this isn’t as mature as I thought their new sound would be. I just hate the girls singing at the end, and the high school feeling. I hope the rest of the album will be more “mature”…
