Jessie Ware: ‘Imagine It Was Us’ Radio Premiere
Last week, British singer-songwriter Jessie Ware announced that she’d releasing her fantastic 2012 debut album Devotion stateside on April 16. With new support from Cherrytree Records, the re-issue will come packed with two new tracks: “Imagine It Was Us” and a remix of “Wildest Moments” featuring A$AP Rocky. Jessie debuted the new tune the other night on Annie Mac‘s BBC1 radio show. Produced by frequent collaborator Julio Bashmore, “Imagine It Was Us” sees Jessie changing up the pace a bit atop a seductive and flirty disco beat. Its exactly the direction she should be going. Devotion was easily one of favorite albums last year and I’m so glad its going to be getting more exposure. If you haven’t already, get into Jessie now.

So excited she’s coming here. Fell in love with her album after you recommended it on your Best Albums list.

Reminds me of a less inspired version of Roisin Murphy’s Overprotected. This is okay. This kind of music has been around for decades.
