Flashback Friday: 3LW ‘No More (Baby I’ma Do Right)’

This weeks Flashback Friday song belongs to legendary girl group 3LW! Featuring Naturi Naughton, Adrienne Bailon, and Kiely Williams: 3 Little Women made their mark in the early 2000’s with their debut single “No More (Baby I’ma Do Right),” the track reached #23 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was their biggest single to date. “No More” was the ultimate mad at your man/girl power jam back in the day. You just can’t beat lyrics like “I’m gettin a lil tired of your broken promises, promises. Lookin at your pager seeing different numbers and numbers” – this kind of iconic songwriting just doesn’t exist anymore. 3LW may have never reached their full potential but they will never be forgotten. They paved the way for all your faves and “That’s the way it is, That’s the way it is.” R.I.P.

yeah such a great song, why would 2 out of 3 of them waste their talent for over 5 years with that disney channel franchise “The Cheetah Girls”?!?!? I still listen to this song too. I also liked “Playas Gon’ Play”. A special shout out and thank you Now That’s What I call Music 6 & 7 cds(and all the Now cds I have) for periodically taking me back to my favorite music. especially The pop & R&B music of the early 2000s, when I was in middle school. 😉

They wasted their talents with Disney because that was making them more money than when they were 3lw and it was generating more global exposure for them.
