Flashback Friday: Hilary Duff ‘Stranger’

Leave it to me to start a new feature and then totally forget about it. Leslie Knope is not pleased. This weeks Flashback Friday song belongs to actress, entrepreneur, author, humanitarian, and true Disney queen – Hilary Duff. When the young diva wasn’t busy dominating other industries, she was pouring out some pretty spectacular tunes. “Stranger” off her flawless fourth studio album Dignity (released in 2007) is just one of many of her classic jams. Written and produced by Hilary, Kara Dioguardi, Vada Nobles, and Derrick Haruin, “Stranger” showed off the more grown-up, serious side of Hilary. Till this day I consider it a modern pop anthem; a cool and confident slice of dance pop. The song is simply one of her best and I’m not ashamed to admit that I still listen to Dignity as if it were just released yesterday. Luckily for us, Hilary has been busy recording her upcoming fifth studio album since last year and its looking like we will be getting it before 2013 comes to an end. My body is totally ready!
