Jewel: ‘Foolish Games’ Featuring Kelly Clarkson!
In just a few days, Jewel will be releasing her very first greatest hits compilation, appropriately titled, Greatest Hits. The set will include a handful of tracks spanning all the way back to her 1995 debut Pieces of You. That’s not all, the 17-track compilation features two brand new re-workings of two of her most recognizable songs: “You Were Meant For Me” with the Pistol Annies and “Foolish Games” featuring Kelly Clarkson. “Foolish Games” has always been one of those really emotional songs that could bring you to tears within seconds and now with the addition of Kelegend, it’s an even more tragic affair. Both their voices blend together magically, it’s beautiful. What do you guys think?

Does anyone else wish this was just a Kelly Clarkson cover? Something about Jewel’s voice is so specific to her era, it makes the song sound so dated.

You need to shutup and sit down. It’s perfect.

Yeah, no. Adam is right. Jewel’s voice does sound pretty dated. Kelly’s part was far too small. I’d rather here a solo cover from Kelly.

Dated? lol umm yeah, no. Jewel’s voice is the complete opposite of that. If anything, Kelly is the forever dated one…forever THAT girl from American Idol…with always a hint of cheese within her work because of that.

Oh how I love this song! It’s so beautiful and I don’t think the song sounds dated at all with Jewel’s voice. This is a timeless song! Oh and Kelly sounds great in the song too;)
