Justin Timberlake: ‘Suit & Tie’ Featuring Jay-Z!
He’s back! After over six years since the release of his multi-platinum sophomore album FutureSex/LoveSounds, Justin Timberlake has just released his brand-new single “Suit & Tie” featuring Jay-Z! Written and produced by Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, Shawn Carter, Jerome “J-ROC” Harmon and James Flauntleroy, “Suit & Tie” is a fun, unexpected, smooth and delicious R&B jam that is giving me major Justified vibes. I love it! It definitely doesn’t scream comeback single but give it a chance, It’s a grower for sure. Enjoy!

“Back in June of last year, I quietly started working on what is now, my next journey with that thing I love called MUSIC,” Justin wrote on his official site. “The inspiration for this really came out of the blue and to be honest, I didn’t expect anything out of it. I just went into the studio and started playing around with some sounds and songs. It was probably the best time I’ve had in my career… Just creating with no rules and/or end goal in mind and really enjoying the process. What I came up with is something I couldn’t be more excited about! It is full of inspiration that I grew up listening to and some new found muses that I’ve discovered along the way. I’m calling it “The 20/20 Experience,” and it’s coming out this year.”

I hate the whole weird lead in part but I love the whole vibe afterwards!

I’m digging the vibe a lot. After the lame intro, it definitely picks up
hehehehe
Intro was better than the song to me, LOL!

Maybe it will grow on me, but as of right now I’m feeling pretty disappointed by the track. Just about as disappointed as I was with the “new” Destiny’s Child track.

why does the new Justin Timberlake song sound like a left over track from one of Robin Thicke’s albums?
a “comeback” single this is not.

I love it but not as a first single after 6 years…

Nope. Try again, Justin. This is not what is acceptable after a 6 year musical hiatus.
Joshua
This is not comeback material in the slightest.
YEP_ITS_HER
Atrocious lyrics and there are 5 PEOPLE noted as songwriters. What a joke!!!

2013 has started with a plop fo sho.

The song is fine. But I really dont like the singer though, no offense meant.

The songwriting on this song is just lazy. Tired melodies, tired lyrics and the musical direction is not relevant to today’s charts. It’s fine if Justin doesn’t care about writing pop songs anymore, but it’s disappointing to a lot of his fans to come up with something like this after such a long musical hiatus. Disappointed by JT for the first time ever.

Robin Thicke would have killed this song…he sounds so bored, why try singing again when you can be in movies Justin? That’s what you really want anyway…then we wont have to hear this on the radio all the time ugh…

There’s such a fly ‘Off The Wall’ Michael Jackson-ish vibe to this. My style. Love it.

Its amazing how it takes a lot of people to produce crap like this! Really disappointing 🙁

Not happy with this ‘comeback’ either. Everything is already said about what I think of the song, except that the rap part of Jay-Z is the best part of the song and that is not even that good either. Very disappointing!

I’m grinning and chuckling at all the Robin Thicke references & it’s true, this DOES sound like a Robin Thicke leftover track. Burn! I agree with another comment that it’s not comeback quality. It just isn’t that replay worthy (imo). This track personally feels more disco pop than r&b

Mr Timberlake is back,, and to be honest I have to agree ,, nothing new,, I expected much more from JT. He s just a outstanding singer ,,, and hopefully the new album has more to give,, then the first single
