Song of the Week: Samantha Jade ‘What You’ve Done to Me’

This weeks Song of the Week comes from an artist you may or may not be familiar with, Samantha Jade! Those of you who have been following my site for some time know that about six years ago Samantha landed herself a record deal with Jive and scored the title track from the very fist Step Up soundtrack. The song flopped and a year later we were treated to the sweet “Turn Around,” which I still play til this day. In short, Sam‘s career went nowhere and she was eventually dropped and returned home to Australia. This week, the now 25-year-old Aussie songstress has been crowned the winner of X Factor Australia and has just released her first single “What You’ve Done to Me“. The track is an energetic pop track destined to certify her comeback as a huge success. A new album is expected to drop next year. Get ready!

WOW you’re promoting her! She’s amazing she was in the bottom 2 in the first week and now she’s the winner glad she beat the boy band! But all three finalists released a song! It’s dumb if you ask me!
