One Direction: ‘Little Things’ Single Premiere!
Check out the premiere of One Direction‘s brand-new single “Little Things“! The track serves as the second official single off their sophomore album Take Me Home, due out November 12. Produced by Jake Gosling and written by Ed Sheeran, “Little Things” is a romantic acoustic ballad driven by a slow, sweet melody, as the guys gush about there special girl. While it’s a nice change of pace for the boys, the song is instantly recognizable to Sheeran‘s work and feels a little lackluster. I’m all here for a ballad, but this one kind of put me to sleep. Sorry boys, y’all is still pretty though. What do you guys think?

This is so misguided, it’s not even funny. Zzzzzzzz

Really Jon? On the contrary I think it’s wonderful, so simple, not very boybandish and I love it 🙂

I think Mr. B said it right, it’s a nice change of pace, even though I could recognize Ed’s stamp too.

hmm, it’s definitely an ed sheeran song, but before he started mastering his craft. It just sounds like a mushy diary entry in sung over a melody. Country music is a good example of narrative songs but they work this one doesn’t, it’s kind of awkward to listen to. But I do like Harry’s voice and parts of the chorus.

I wish they would have released “More than This” from the last album. That song was amazing and better than this one.

I think it’s great they are varying their style. Although they are popular with young girls this song seems like it will reach a wider audience.

seemed to have ripped off a few famous tracks with their singles.
