Cher Lloyd: ‘Oath’ Featuring Becky Gomez!

Cher Lloyd is just a month away from finally releasing her debut album Sticks + Stones in the U.S. on October 2! The 19-year-old British singer has scored herself a stateside hit with “Want U Back” and is now planning to release the follow-up. Yesterday, Cher exclusively premiered a brand-new track titled “Oath” on Z100 and it is rumored to be the second U.S. single. The upbeat pop jam features newcomer and Dr. Luke signee Becky Gomez and is one of two new tracks featured on the American version of Sticks + Stones. While I’m definitely feeling the radio-ready and breezy appeal of “Oath,” I think Cher is better off releasing “With Ur Love” as a proper follow-up. What do you guys think?

  1. This sound like Avril Lavigne song… I like! πŸ™‚

  2. Loving the song… reminded me of a mix of Avril Lavigne & Karmin

It’s stuck in my head now πŸ™‚

  3. Catchy but parts of the song sound exactly like Pink’s “Don’t Let Me Get,” so it’s no wonder it would πŸ˜‰ . Especially the part “laughing so damn hard, crashed your dad’s new car…”

  4. I love it. Cher deserves hits. She’s talented enough to have one though. πŸ™‚

  5. She’s so fucking annoying. Ugh. Go away.

  6. i love her music, but this sounds like it’s trying to be a lame high school best friends anthem

  7. This song is much better than Carly Rae Jepsen’s entire Sticks & Stones album.

  8. She’s got her own style that’s marketable, so I don’t understand why they’re trying to make her sound Averyl.
