Taylor Swift: ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’

Check out the premiere of Taylor Swift‘s brand-new single “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together!” The track serves as the lead single off her fourth studio album Red, due for release on October 22. Written and produced with Max Martin and Shellback, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” is a super catchy radio-ready angsty pop jam. The track is definitely a change a pace for Taylor and probably the least country sounding record she has put out yet. I’m not completely sold on the track just yet but I do love that she’s finally switching things up. It will without a doubt be another hit for her. What do you guys think?

We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together

  1. Early Avril is that you? Is this the bonus track that was on the same album as Sk8terboy?! Don’t care for it go back to country taylor!

  2. I don’t think this is single material…at all. I feel like I am listening to some immaturely written song. Let’s hope the rest of her Red album is better than this.

  3. LOL I totally agree with IDOLIZED1. Avril Lavigne was the first thing that popped into my mind. But I do like it! Go on Taylor channel your inner Avril! 🙂

  4. this song rocks, totally can relate to it, finally she changes up her sound

  5. I find this sounds nothing like avril, that is the last thing that came to mind, I thought of Carly Rae Jepsen

  6. pop perfection.

  7. I love it It is catchy and the lyrics is fun.

  8. It’s good she’s mixing things up a bit, but it feels like she’s trying to fit in with the pop songs like “Call Me Maybe” instead of keeping the country sound that made her Taylor Swift.

  9. Hmm, maybe this song was meant to be humorous and hence the immature lyrics. I don’t listen to much country music, but I get the impression that it essentially all sounds the same from what I’ve heard on the radio, I’m glad she’s venturing out to other genres. Like the song, but don’t love, and anything on Fearless tops this. Hoping for another masterpiece like Fearless.

  10. Def got an early Avril feel to it. I actually love this song! It’s really catchy and sticks with you. We can thank Max Martin for that!

  12. I want her to stop ripping other artists’ album titles. She did it with Fearless and now she’s doing it with Red. I want her to be original! It’s like she’s running out of ideas!

  13. However, with all of what I just said before, I do like this song. lol

  14. This sounds like the page of a 12 year old girl’s diary

  15. The thing i can’t stand is how awful her voice sounds in this song.. Omg.
