Melanie Amaro: ‘Don’t Fail Me Now’ Single Premiere!
Check out the premiere of Melanie Amaro‘s debut single “Don’t Fail Me Now!” Her lead single comes nearly eight months after the 20-year-old songstress was crowned the inaugural winner of the U.S. version of the X Factor. Produced by Darkchild and penned by Livvi Franc (“Now I’m That Bitch”), “Don’t Fail Me Now” is a piano-led uptempo dance track with powerhouse vocals set fit for a diva. It’s undeniably a club smash but may have a rough time reaching the Top 40 if not promoted properly. Melanie may have won X Factor but there is a lot of people who still don’t know who she is. This is going to take some WERK! What do you guys think?

The fuck is the point of that random buildup? This song is a mess.

Well this song is going nowhere fast. She’s not breaking on to the scene anytime soon, at least not with this.

not growing on me either, I loved melanie on the x factor, not sure if this is the best lead single though, weird mix between wanting to be vocal and wanting to be a club smash

BORING!

This song was HORRIBLY produced….. It should have just stuck as a piano ballad as a second single. the build up is pointless because it just falls off and leaves you hanging. Whoever picks the song for the winners of these shows needs to be fired. 95% of the time their first singles SUCK.

its Red One his stuff (work) lately sucked….Melanie is way better than this

That cover is a rip off of Demi Lovato’s cover for Here We Go Again. Artwork designers could not use a different font?

I didn’t like it at first, but I woke up with the song in my head this morning! I tihnk it’s a grower!

The original falls just short of dance gold, it needs a remix stat!

I’m shocked and kind of sad at seeing all of the negative feedback on this song. I have to say, while it’s certainly a grower, I think it is a decently produced and a very good start for her. I hope they give this a good video and promotional campaign. Just to pump it up. Remixes are a must def!
Topher
It’s quite the snoozefest.

THIS IS NOT A LEADING TRACK FOR A 5 MIL. CONTRACT. THIS IS TRACK 4 OR 5 AND IT SHOULD PIANO ARRANGED. SHE SANG POP BALLADS THE WHOLE SHOW. AND HAS A DYNAMIC VOICE…THIS ISNT THE SONG
