Justin Bieber? Nicki Minaj? Carly Rae Jepsen? Really?
Those videos are just crap. Meanwhile artist with amazing videos like Lana Del Rey (Blue Jeans/National Anthem), Florence And the Machine (No Light No Light/ Spectrum), Will Young (I Just Want a Lover), Ed Sheeran (Drunk) amongst others are barely given any recognition.
    Shame on you, MTV.

I’m shocked that Nelly Furtado’s “Spirit Indestructible” wasn’t in the Best Video With a Message category. Such a shame. I feel like some of these artist were just put in a category because their just popular at the moment even though there’s plenty of other more deserving artists.

FINALLY Rihanna get some nominations. She used to get none while she had the biggest hits of the year. Great to see no Lady Gaga in here! For me Wide Awake isn’t the best video of the year (I think that’s Princess of China) but that one isn’t nominated for Video of the Year. Rihanna’s We Found Love is going to win it I think. And amazing that One Direction is nominated two times! My guilty pleasure. haha
