Cheryl Cole: ‘Call My Name’ Single Premiere!

The premiere of Cheryl Cole‘s new single “Call My Name” is here! The track written and produced by Calvin Harris serves as the first official single off her third studio album, A Million Lights, available on June 18th in the UK. Following the winning formula of previous jams (“We Found Love“, “Let’s Go“, etc.) “Call My Name” comes packed with glorious synths and one hell of an addicting chorus. It’s a complete summer smash with a formulaic but crisp production that undoubtedly always shines through with Harris. The video for “Call My Name” directed by Anthony Mandler will premiere on Vevo on Wednesday (May 2). A Million Lights will feature collaborations from Alex Da Kid, will.i.am, Lana Del Rey, Jim Beanz, and newcomers Pantha and HyGrade. What do you guys think?

I wonder if her team realizes that June 10 is a hell of a date away from now (well over a month). Sounds like bad planning to me. Catchy song, not sure if it can sustain though. Perhaps she’ll release a second single before the album comes out, unlikely, but you never know.

I fucking love it, and Cheryl. Sure, it’s the typical Calvin Harris production, but Cheryl puts her own special touch on it, and it’s going to smash.
