Madonna: 2012 Super Bowl Halftime Show!

Moments ago, Madonna put on a spectacular performance during the Super Bowl XLVI Halftime Show at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. The pop queen delivered a medley of her greatest hits along with her new single “Give Me All Your Luvin” from her new album, MDNA. During her thrilling performance she was joined by party rockers LMFAO, Nicki Minaj, M.I.A. and Cee Lo Green. It was over the top, entertaining, gay and I absolutely loved it. The woman just knows how to put on a show like no other. Watch the performance below! What did you guys think?

The performance was great, but I have to admit I was a little disappointed in M.I.A. and her lame attempt to get attention. “I fly like paper, get high like planes. I flipped people off at a Superbowl game.”

The beginning opened up like a Kylie Aphrodite tour performance. I still thought it was okay, We have seen M do better. Plus I thought the halftime is supposed to run longer…

The performance wasn’t bad but I dislike the fact they all lip-synched (major turn off). I still like Nicki & M.I.A. and as for Madonna not bad for her age moving around and dancing.

I expected a lot more from her. Yes, this was a good performance, but I found it to be quite…safe. In her tours she sings live, and moves a lot more. She did show some pretty impressive moves, and I LOVED seeing her “shuffling”, but that was about it for me. The whole thing was very “iconic” Madonna, in the Cher way, but not in the fun, young Madonna way that we see on tour .

I think lip-syncing was their only option. NBC I’m sure had some strict rules for Madonna and is why she probably played it a little safe. All of America was basically watching. It still was one of the best half times shows we’ve had in a long time.
