Lana Del Rey: ‘Video Games’ Live on Late Show with David Letterman!

Last night, Lana Del Rey made an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman to perform “Video Games” from her debut album Born To Die. This was Lana‘s first performance on U.S television since her much talked about SNL guest spot. While so many were hoping to see the 25-year-old singer-songwriter fail, Lana did the complete opposite and absolutely nailed it. Simply backed by the piano and a small string section, she looked gorgeous as she performed a stunning rendition of “Video Games.” Her vocals were nearly perfect and I couldn’t be any happier. Born To Die is already on track to debut at #2 on the Billboard charts next week. Congrats Lana! In case you missed it, check out our album review! What did you guys think?

  1. amazing Lana

  2. Most of the people slagging her off were 12 year olds that have grown up listening to music that has laser sounds and bleep bloops in it.
They don’t appreciate a good ballad.
    I love this song.

  3. I’m definitely a pop fan, but this was beautiful, both her and her voice.

  4. I love the song and I’m a fan but are we sure she was singing totally live here??? It seems like it a prerecorded new vocal. Anyone else agree?

  5. Definitely better but still dont prefer to see her live. She looks dead on stage.

  6. I can definitely understand where some of the critics are coming from, because the first time I gave her album a listen, it was kind of boring, but I’m doing my homework now and decided to put her on for background music, but I noticed that as soon as I stopped really listening I was able to appreciate the sutleties in each song that make them individually beautiful but together, I’m not sure it works, but nonetheless of love her music.

  7. Beautiful! I wish she would have carried that last note a bit longer though…
