Florence + The Machine: ‘No Light, No Light’ Video Premiere!
Check out the just-premiered video for “No Light, No Light,” the second official single from Florence + the Machine’s sophomore album “Ceremonials.” In the video it appears that Florence is being controlled by a man holding a voodoo doll. She then falls from a skyscraper and into a church, only to be caught by a group of choir boys. Pretty intense. What do you guys think?

Cool song, but why does she have to be so racist?

Hello, weird racial undertones. WTF, Flo?

Racial undertones? How about occult undertones. I do not see it as a race thing. I see it as a belief thing. Voodoo is an african religion that came to the US and Haiti from West African Vodun. So the fact that an african american man is performing the ritual on her does not surprise me. Quite fitting.
