Amy Winehouse: ‘Like Smoke’ Featuring Nas!

It was recently announced that Amy Winehouse’s team and Island Records will be releasing a posthumous album titled “Lioness: Hidden Treasures” on December 5th. The compilation will feature 12 previously unreleased songs chosen by Amy’s collaborators, Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi. Here we have “Like Smoke” featuring rapper Nas, the lead track from the rarities album. The Salaam Remi-produced cut was recorded in 2008 and premiered last night on New York City’s Hot 97. “Like Smoke” doesn’t really highlight Amy‘s voice too well but Nas serves up solid verses over the retro sounding track. Lets hope the rest of this thing turns out a little better. What do you guys think?

I think its beyond genius it showcases Amys Voice Perfect even shows more off a range than back to black, but its sad shes gone i miss her and her music will live on, i blame Blake

Love the Amy bit, not a fan of Nas,
I love Amy’s music, but I’m a bit reluctant to buy the album, it just sounds like a huge cash in. It’s the whole Micheal Jackson fiasco again, these artists were perfectionists and releasing un-finished music by them when they have no say on the matter is pretty disrespectful.
