Once again proving that her reign just won’t let up, Rihanna‘s latest single “We Found Love” has just topped the Billboard Hot 100. The Calvin Harris-produced track rises 2-1, making this her 11th #1 single. Rihanna is just the seventh artist in the Hot 100’s 53-year history to tally at least 11 leaders. Among women, Rihanna moves into a third-place tie with Whitney Houston for most toppers, after only Mariah Carey and Madonna. “We Found Love” spends a second week at #1 on the Digital Songs chart with 243,000 downloads sold, the weekly sum pushes the song past a million in release-to-date digital sales (1,057,000). As expected, Coldplay climbs in at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart with its third chart-topping set, “Mylo Xyloto,” selling 447,000 in its debut week according to Billboard. “Mylo Xyloto” bow marks the third largest sales week of the year for an album, after Lady Gaga‘s “Born This Way” debut (1.1 million) and Lil Wayne‘s “Tha Carter IV” start (964,000). Only four other rock acts have claimed three albums that debuted with at least 400,000, Coldplay now joins that list. Congrats boys, maybe will be seeing Rihanna and Coldplay claiming more tops spots when they release “Princess of China.” Kelly Clarkson‘s new album “Stronger” starts at #2 with 163,000 sold while first single, “Mr. Know It All,” blasts 19-10 on the Hot 100 this week.
