First Listen: Rebecca Ferguson ‘Nothing’s Real But Love’

Last year, Rebecca Ferguson rose to fame from being a finalist on the UK’s X Factor where she finished in second place. Her fellow finalist Matt Cardle, One Direction, and Cher Lloyd have all already released their own material and its now Rebecca‘s time to shine. After signing a joint record deal between Syco and Epic Records in January, Rebecca started preparing the release of her debut album which is due out December 5th (UK). Today her first single titled “Nothing’s Real But Love” premiered on radio. The emotional soul-pop ballad was written by Rebecca and Eg White, who is responsible for Adele‘s “Chasing Pavements” and Duffy‘s “Warwick Avenue.” The song is beautiful and much different from anything we’re use to from an X Factor finalist. Be sure to check it out, Enjoy!

Rebecca Ferguson will release her debut single “Nothing’s Real But Love” in the UK on November 27th!

Can’t sing, reminds me a little bit of Macy Grace. There’s no feeling behind the voice. The song, however, is beautiful. If Adele sang this, she would have done this song justice.

^^^ are you freakin kiddin me?! .. She was on the XFACTOR and came 2nd place for a reason. Her voice is unique and she can most definitely sing. Saying she can’t sing isn’t even an opinion that can be taken seriously.. she can CLEARLY sing.

I really like her but i didn’t think she had much range in her voice and she was often off key on the show, the song is good but i agree with someone above there’s no depth to it, its like shes signing but wishing she was elsewhere.. But i think the song will do well in UK because she has a strong fan base.. but i don’t think she’l be the next Leona (Although their both friends)
